Today I brought the TD to PPO Systems in Wezep to leave the car there for the SVO Adjustments.
I’ll have to miss the car for some time, I asked them to also install the Webasto waterheater too. In the meantime Harrie and a friend will try to createﾃつ (welding)ﾃつ a second fuel tank which will be placed right in the back, where the EHBO kit is usually fitted. The original fuel channels will be connected to this second fuel tank, and there will be placed new thicker fuel channels to the big fuel tank, because of the greater viscosity of the Rapeseed oil.
I am only going to fill the tank with DIN certified Rapeseed oil from now on, no supermarket oils anymore,ﾃつ because of this norm, whichﾃつ is important when you do not want to shorten the life of your engine.ﾃつ You definately want to be sure about a good combustion. Theﾃつ valuesﾃつ say something about the sustained percentages ofﾃつ materials in the substance, for example phosphor andﾃつ H20.

Yesterday evening I picked up the TD and went home, after filling up the tank, diesel again. I’ve checked the pics they madeﾃつ and it is done very professionally, I can recommend this to any car. As I read on a piece of the local paper hanging on their front door: ‘Rust is back’ (aiming at cars from nowadays). Anyways, it looks real good, the complete car was done with this stuff. I feel much saver now for the part of the winter that is left.

I passed the 65000km today too.
Next step for preparation is the SVO built. I already made an appointment with Elsbett, and the 25th I’ll bring the TD to them. It will take a week or so.
In the meantime I’ll put the car away and take my nice 230C to go to work. I want to drive on Rapeseed oil as much as possible with the TD.

Yes, today I am going to pick her up again. Tonight after work, I’ll take the train and if all goes well (which is usually not the case with trains) I’m there in about an hour. Then I will be picked up by the friendly guy from Stam Automotiveﾃつ who brings me to the TD again and then I drive back home and then I can use the car again safely in this rainy period, with sometimes snow and salt. I’ve asked them to take pictures of the process, which I’ll place at our W123 Club too, I’ll write an article about it here too I think.
